FILM: the barking blue dog

FINALIST AT THE FILM FESTIVAL "EAT MY SHORTS" 2005

The Barking Blue Dog came about from a short script I wrote. I wanted to create something slightly odd and very much about the way two people who think differently have a conversation and interact. The story is about a man who has Synaesthesia, who is thrown into a very difficult and stressful situation.

There have been quite a few films about Synaesthesia, but I wanted to take on the subject from a more story-based approach and instead of focusing on the visual side of the condition, (which seemed all too creatively tempting!) I decided to focus on language and the sound. The short is about 5mins long.
